Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist I - IV Certified **Langone Orthopedic Center**. In this role, the successful candidate is responsible and must have the ability to perform general and specialized MRI procedures of designated anatomical areas which meet the department's standard of quality; respond to allergic reactions and other life threatening patient conditions arising while the patient is in the department; treat patients visitors and staff with courtesy and tact; maintain confidentiality of patient record and information; work effectively under stress and adjust priorities as circumstances require; organize work assignments maintain accurate and complete records; maintain a high degree of accuracy in procedural detail record keeping; work independently on call completing all required clerical and technical functions Monitors and reviews the work of the staff and assist supervisors when necessary Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree, Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification in New York State, New York State Radiologic technology, Nuclear Medicine Radiation Therapy ARRT Primary Certification/Registration BLS Certification. Required Licenses: Radiologic TechLic IV-Cert-NYS, Am Registry Of Radiologic Tech Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
