The salary range for this role, based in New York is $164,480.00 to $215,880.00 . The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

The Finance Director, M&A Integration is a critical role within the Pernod Ricard USA Finance organization, overseeing the integration of recent acquisitions, leading partnership management workstreams, and guiding legacy M&A integration project prioritization and execution. This role will also support North American Distillers' strategic topics and manage project workstreams for brand company initiatives as needed. A thorough understanding of our end-to-end transaction process and timeline for integrating partner brands is essential. This position will interact cross-functionally and partner with multiple stakeholders (Operations, Accounting, Marketing, Portfolio Finance, Commercial Finance, Brand Entrepreneurs, Executives, PR HQ). The role requires strong influencing skills, developed leadership capabilities, finance expertise, and excellent communication.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships internally and with new brand partners. You should have a keen interest in taking charge of various processes and projects while driving efficiencies and standardization. This individual should be detail-oriented and able to grasp the big picture, as this role is crucial for our growth and strategy. This position reports to the VP Finance, North American Distillers Limited (NADL).

Major Responsibilities
  • Guide new brand integration for Pernod Ricard North America, ensuring the integration of newly acquired brands according to the Pernod Ricard Group timetable and integration strategy.
  • Lead a team of two FTEs focused on M&A integration workstreams.
  • Serve as the North American finance point of contact for the Founder (if any) and/or for PR stakeholders after the closing of an M&A transaction.
  • Act as the PR USA liaison to the Global M&A team, supporting local market requests and M&A financial performance reviews for the PR Burex and/or Strategic Committee.
  • Be the local PR USA expert regarding the parameters of executed M&A transactions.
  • Advocate for the Finance Department on all finance-related topics during the integration phase of all new business.
  • Work with executive sponsors and business leads to ensure each partner brand is properly scoped and chartered so that success can be measured.
  • Guide business leads across North America in reviewing, discussing, and monitoring progress on key tasks, risks, and dependencies for assigned integration initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain internal control structures and procedures for integration processes and documentation.
  • Provide the Portfolio Finance team with business insights linked to the acquisition to strengthen the forecasting process.
  • Coordinate the initial planning process and requirements with the new businesses.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to ensure a holistic integration plan and execution.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of accounting records (both P&L and Balance Sheet) throughout the integration, in partnership with the North American Accounting team.
  • Support and drive the execution of ad-hoc strategic projects for new and recent acquisitions.
  • Aid in the integration process for previously executed acquisitions.
  • Support and drive North American Distillers' strategic topics and project management.

Education & Experience Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Qualifications:
    • A minimum of 8 years of relevant leadership experience in finance and operations.
    • Excellent organizational skills with a structured approach and the capability to manage numerous and competing work streams simultaneously.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
    • Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity, always seeking new approaches and challenging the organization to achieve new levels of success.
    • Experience leading cross functional workstreams or projects.
