Join the industry leader to design the next generation of breakthroughs An excellent career opportunity is currently available for an R&D Technician II, located at UOP's Research & Pilot Plant facility in Des Plaines, IL. Join Honeywell in solving the world's most important sustainability challenges! Be part of a team of engineers, scientists and technicians, working to develop a long-duration battery energy storage solution to enable large-scale adoption of renewable power. Experimental lab equipment setup, pilot plant operation, and data acquisition will be key aspects of this role. Following procedures to maintain safe operations is top priority in everything we do. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting innovative experiments, maintaining lab spaces, operation of pilot plants, and contributing to the advancement of our energy storage technologies. Honeywell UOP, a company headquartered in Des Plaines, Illinois, is a leading international licensor of processing technology and supplier of engineering services, equipment, specialty materials and digital solutions for the global energy industry. The annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is $49,100.00 - $65,000.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
