The salary range for this role, based in Georgia is $101,920.00 to $127,400.00 . The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

- Individual:
  • Owns total Agave category Net Sales performance and execution in on premise, on premise chains, independent retail and retail chain channels for all assigned markets
  • Builds PRUSA agave portfolio brands by identifying and overseeing targeted sell-through activities (implementing national programs, identifying and executing local promotions) and ensuring ROI for all market resources for all assigned markets
  • Ensures execution of effective "local-level" agave category plan, including PRUSA strategic initiatives, innovation launches, and local KPIs, in line with state priorities at the local / channel level
  • Owns PRUSA agave brand single barrel program sell-in and complete execution through to retail / on premise launch and sell-through
  • Ensures execution of PRUSA agave brand standards through rigorous communication, training and education, distributor sales team co-selling, and support of distributor teams, both dedicated (ALD) and full-book teams, with clear communication and consistency
  • Owns relationships with small number of agave-specific key accounts (including on premise, on premise chains, independent retail and retail chain channels) to implement PRUSA retail execution standards, innovation + distribution priorities, and local / national programs
  • Prioritizes high NNS SKU sell-in and sales team training and supports new item launches through communication, education and co-selling initiatives.
  • Owns key account staff training and education across all channels, on and off premise
  • Owns agave experiential and consumer facing event identification and collaborates with FMM and local teams for involvement in execution and consumer interaction.
  • Train, motivate & develop distributor's sales teams to achieve targets by executing flawlessly in all trade channels through co-selling and flawless execution
  • Support agave category sales force presentations (including general sales meetings, road shows, fiscal kick off meetings)
  • Leverage market level data dashboards (yDrink, Microstrategy, D-STAR), Power BI, and custom dashboards & reports to assess + track performance, SKU gap voids, sell-through and re-buy rates, identify agave category net sales + overall business growth opportunities, and inform strategy and decisions within territory
  • Monitors and tracks agave retail pricing of PRUSA agave brands and competitor agave brands to ensure price strategy compliance and recommends further price programming to capitalize local market opportunities
  • Supports PRUSA state manager with PRUSA agave brand forecasts for territory and monthly commentary on performance vs. opportunities

- Collaborates:
  • Works closely PRUSA state leads / Market Managers to support distributor sales teams and PRUSA commercialization team to create local execution plans against total agave portfolio that deliver against financial objectives, KPIs, and strategic imperatives (with State Director + Field Marketing Manager)
  • Identifies, plans, and executes account sell-through activities supporting PRUSA agave brands (with both our internal customer success team and distributor partners)
  • Develops local agave category-driving initiatives and drives them by utilizing programs, sales tools, and communication.
  • Contributor to the development of the market AOP specific to the PRUSA agave portfolio, influencing market level priorities, channel plans, KPI/ROI expectations, and A&P/LMF deployment
  • Collaborates with market manager team, CDM and Prestige Teams, and Field Marketing Managers + several cross functional roles to develop/produce agave category sales tools (to include Fiscal Year Playbooks, kick off presentations, GSM materials, market level plans, etc)

Nature & Scope

- Key Metrics:
  • Weekly recap sent in 5-15 format to VP of Agave, direct manager, and PRUSA state lead.
  • Bi-weekly engagement on Agave Team Meetings to review strategy, performance, brand education and collaborative recap of wins and handling objections and challenges in markets
  • Minimum 4 days in market working with key account customers and co-selling and supporting distributor sales teams, CDMs, PSMs and PRUSA Market Managers.
  • Monthly 1x1 call with direct manager to review territory performance and activity vs. KPI expectations
  • Log all sales activities via GoSpotCheck CRM tool
  • Achieves / Exceeds all key brand KPIs

- Financial Targets:
  • Delivers total agave category NNS targets for territory and key accounts
  • Depletions of total agave portfolio (# of cases, total increase, target account improvements)
  • Agave brand KPIs and distribution goals

- Organizational Context:
  • Reports solid line to VP of Agave (or direct manager where available)
  • Works closely with PRUSA state manager
  • Works closely with CDM & PSM teams
  • Works closely with Chains Division sales leads
  • Works closely with Field Marketing team(s)
  • Works closely with distributor dedicated and full book sales teams

Decision Rights

- Owns:
  • Total agave portfolio NNS
  • Drives AV3 (availability, visibility, velocity, value) execution against agave portfolio priorities and programs for channel / territory
  • Allocating budgeted local resource
  • Assigned market budgets as assigned to Agave Market Manager territory
  • Agave portfolio activation execution and ROI in assigned territory
  • Collaborate with FMM & Market Managers to identify and execute against local LFM & A&P resources to support total agave portfolio

Key Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • Experience / Background: Position requires 5-7 years of previous sales experience in a wine and spirit or consumer goods sales environment with proven success managing distributor relationships. Experience in the agave category a big plus. Flexibility required to work in the field regularly, including attendance at promotions in the evening and on weekends.
