JOB OVERVIEW: The Specialist, Talent Performance and Development will support the Director Talent Performance and Talent Development team. The Specialist, Talent Performance and Development will support managing, developing tools & reporting and analyzing all components of Talent Performance. Responsible for activation, engagement and reporting for two short term incentive programs. This is a role that will require systems sensibility, strong analytical and excel ability, and outstanding communication and relationship-management skills. Our ideal candidate has a passion for growing talent within an organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Reporting, Analytics & Tools
  • Seek continuous efficiency improvement through report/tool evolution & resources development.
  • Liaise with Macys Tech & Business Intelligence
  • Analyze and format data to meet the needs of the Performance & Development teams
  • Workforce weekly review report, Performance tools, reporting & troubleshooting
  • HR KPI Tracking/Metrics and ad-hoc HR data/reporting requests
  • Culture Pulse Survey analytics & tools
Business Performance Support
  • Troubleshoot all business concerns related to execution of all Performance & Development components
  • Escalate, collaborate & solve technology as needed with BI, Macys Tech etc.
  • Support Compliance and LMS AskHR Support tickets
Manage Hourly Incentive and Spot Bonus Programs
  • Partner with the business to determine criteria & validation/payout with Macy's Compensation Team
  • Reporting & communication content and strategy
  • Tool/Form creation and management & monthly Reporting
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

We encourage candidates with either a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field to apply
  • 2+ years related experience
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally and across hierarchy levels
  • Intellectually curious with strong analytical skills, drawing actionable insights and recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication, storytelling and PowerPoint/presentation skills for diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management; Ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Maintains confidentiality and security of sensitive company information
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in GCP and Power BI Reporting
  • Excellent project management skills and strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
  • Work Hours: Full Time
