Job Overview The Manager, Financial Systems leads a team of Analysts in the Accounting and Finance department, focusing on enhancing and streamlining centralized accounting and finance functions. They leverage expertise in software solutions, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Visual Basic programming, SQL Server, and other tools to eliminate manual processes and improve efficiency. In addition to their technical skills, the Manager guides and mentors team members, fostering professional growth and development. They create a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and drives process improvements. By working closely with business partners across the organization, the Manager ensures greater efficiency, accuracy, and innovation in financial operations. Their contributions are key to achieving team goals and supporting the organization's success. Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead and mentor a team of Analysts, fostering professional growth, and creating a collaborative work environment. Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee tasks, set clear expectations, manage timelines, and ensure successful project delivery. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to use analytical thinking to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions, with a focus on optimizing processes and workflows. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and concisely to management and business partners. Innovation and Process Improvement: Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in financial operations, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost savings. Collaboration: Strong ability to work closely with business partners across the organization to ensure seamless integration of technology-driven solutions. Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of MS Office programs, experience with RPA, Visual Basic, and SQL Server. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft Power Platform, and other technologies like ASP.Net, HTML, JavaScript, Python, and PowerShell is a plus. Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and time-sensitive environment, and adapt to evolving business needs. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, especially in maintaining records, documentation, and supporting audit processes. Problem-Solving and Process Automation: Real-world experience in creating, implementing, and supporting complex RPA Bots and automation procedures. Innovative Thinking: Ability to lead discussions with business partners and senior management, empowering the team to support daily operations while driving forward-thinking initiatives. Who You Are
