As Manager-M&A Integrations and Separations, you will partner with the Senior Director to support the planning, building, and running of the Global Center of Excellence for Integrations and Separations. You will work across functions and regions to ensure seamless integration or separation of acquired or divested businesses. This position requires a high degree of leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving across various workstreams to achieve the investment thesis, drive synergy capture, initiate process improvements, and to deliver long-term value creation.

Objectives: Your work will directly contribute to the 3 Objectives of the Global Center of Excellence for Integrations and Separations:
  • Achieve or exceed the commitment case in the Transaction Value Analysis (TVA), enabling the acquiring business to deliver its investment thesis
  • Drive integration/separation as efficiently and effectively as possible
  • Build Honeywell's enduring capabilities and competitive advantage in M&A Integration/Separation, extensively and intensively.

  • More specifically, your work will be primarily focused on building and strengthening our capability to consistently achieve these objectives by:
    • Building the Accelerator Global Design Model (GDM) and for integrations and separations in partnership with SMEs.
    • Maximizing the utility, adoption, and utilization of EY Capital Edge through a library of continually curated Master Playbooks, training and equipping of users, and optimal tracking and reporting of financial and integration performance.
    • Optimizing the M&A Management Operating System (MOS) for integration and separations through operational excellence in recurring meetings, strategic initiatives, and our Say/Do fidelity.
    • For deals in flight, you will be expected to contribute to the execution of key integration/separation activities, including Day One planning, synergy capture, functional integration, and the management of Transition Services Agreements (TSAs) with a focus on strengthening our capability.
    Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    People
    • Collaborate and partner with the Senior Director, the Corporate Development team, Corporate Functional Integration Leaders, and other SMEs
    • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and/or refine playbooks for integration or separation workstreams
    • Engage key stakeholders, including business unit leaders, corporate functions, and target company teams, to ensure strategic alignment
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within integration/separation teams to meet project milestones and strategic objectives
    Process
    • Assist the Senior Director in developing and implementing integration and separation playbooks, ensuring consistent execution across deals while allowing for customization when necessary
    • Develop comprehensive procedures to identify, communicate, and address deal risks, challenges, and upsides
    • Develop a process to measure progress against key milestones, e.g., integration cycle time, process efficiency, growth in capability/capacity, etc.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration/separation methodologies by identifying lessons learned from past transactions and applying best practices to future deals
      Technology and Data
    • Collaborate with the Senior Director to identify opportunities to leverage and complement existing technology platforms and Global Design Models (e.g., Accelerator, EY Capital Edge, etc.) to improve due diligence, integration planning, and separation execution
    • Support the deployment of technology solutions to enhance integration and separation processes through application of GenAI in Due Diligence. Integration/Separation planning, and execution
    • Partner with IT and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency in synergy tracking, cost reporting, and milestone achievement. Ensure process consistency, scalability, deal-type flexibility, business model compatibility, and necessary customizations
    Technology and Data

    YOU MUST HAVE:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; MBA preferred
    • 5+ years of experience in M&A, business development, financial services, or strategic planning, with hands-on experience managing cross-functional workstreams
    • Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans
