We want relationship-builders who are dedicated and passionate about making a difference for our students and community Position Overview: Days: 5 days a week, 221 work days per year and paid holidays per contract agreement Hours: 7.5 hours/day (7 hrs, 30 minutes); work shift is typcially between the hours of 7:00 am - 2:30 pm; however, flexibility may be needed to work as early as 6:00 am and as late as 3:00 pm. Primary building assignment will be Nicollet Middle School. Must be willing to work at any elementary school, middle school, or high school in the district based on the needs of the department; May be assigned to work at 1 or more schools each day. Start Date: 10/1/24 or negotiable with the candidate Compensation/benefits: Per Unit Agreement Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for preparing and serving food to students by complying with all applicable sanitation and health standards and following established food production programs and procedures. Assist in providing work direction to Food Service employees. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Obtain Level 3 Certification from School Nutrition Association within 90 days of hire Minnesota Certified Food Protection Manager certification withn 90 days of hire Must have a valid MN Driver's license Application Process: Our online application system offers the opportunity to upload additional information such as a cover letter, resume, references and transcripts.
