Overview
AAA Life Insurance Company needs a Senior Production Manager for the Direct Mail Marketing team! This role involves leading all aspects of direct mail production, including print and materials sourcing, proofing, and working with internal teams and external partners. The Senior Production Manager ensures timely delivery, adherence to project specifications, and successful execution of direct mail campaigns. Expertise in printing, letter shop operations, and postal regulations is required.
Responsibilities
- Identify scope, resources, timelines, and budgets to implement direct mail campaign strategies in alignment with company objectives.
- Lead all aspects of the coordination of design, print production, and mailing operations.
- Ensure compliance with postal regulations and negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors to ensure supply-chain alignment.
- Support the organization's goals of cost alignment by bringing to bear the necessary resources.
- Production Scheduling - Monitor campaign progress to ensure key achievement results are met including anticipated mail drops and in-home delivery dates.
- Analyze campaign data (mail track reports and response rates) to evaluate performance and find opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
- Champion relationships with key partners, including marketing, creative strategy, and external collaborators.
- Implement standard methodologies in project management and direct mail operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related subject area.
- A minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in direct mail production. Experience working in the life insurance or financial services industry strongly preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.
- Consistent track record of leading large-scale direct mail campaigns.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and empower teams.
- Expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of print production processes and postal regulations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
