ACST Research Director

Honeywell's ACST team is seeking a Research Director for our Golden Valley, MN or Broomfield, CO location. This role reports to directly to the Environment and Infrastructure (E&I) General Manager. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the research and delivery of innovative solutions. Your leadership and expertise will contribute to the overall productivity and effectiveness of the research function, ensuring that all research conducted by your team lays the foundation for the future of E&I.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive accountability to achieving the vision and deliverables of the organization
  • Leading and managing a team of leaders, scientists, physicists, and researchers to develop and deliver high-quality products
  • Partner and align with business development to expand R&D efforts with new and existing customers and programs
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and efficiency
  • Identify and grow talent to drive the organization forward
  • Promote clear communication and technical guidance across teams and functions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources
The annual base salary for this position is . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. This position is incentive plan eligible.

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • 10+ years of experience in research or development
  • 8+ years' experience leading technical teams
  • S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
