Title and Summary

Director, Chief of Staff

The Digital Transformation (DT) team is looking for a Director, Chief of Staff to support the EVP Digital Transformation and her leadership team to ensure efficient operations, drive alignment and enable decision making. The Digital Transformation team's mission is to empower Mastercard to optimize and realize the full potential of its solutions, including monetizing the value we deliver. The Digital Transformation team works alongside the product and engineering teams focused on strategy, governance, data & analytics, optimization, commercialization, distribution and Fintechs.

Role
In this role you will report directly into the EVP Digital Transformation and work alongside herself and the leadership team on multiple initiatives.
• Support the execution of the DT strategic priorities by collaborating closely with business leads and across Core Payments and the larger Mastercard organization (e.g. Services, CNPF, Regional teams, Finance, P&C, Communications, Marketing, TECH, Legal)
• Develop executive presentations and messaging for internal audiences (e.g. Quarterly Business Reviews, Governance meetings, business updates, Teams Channel, Monthly Newsletter); facilitate transparent and effective communication across the organization.
• Shape external-facing narratives with strong analytic support and product knowledge
• Manage and coordinate regular engagements on Digital Transformation priorities between the global Digital Transformation team and the Regional Core Payment teams.
• Drive business reporting ensuring operational excellence including coordinating updates into Core Payments QOR, Earnings, and other Investor Relations activities; identify insights and make meaningful recommendations as needed
• Lead implementation of employee communication and engagement initiatives (e.g. Monthly All Hands meetings, Weekly Directs meetings, Leadership offsites, Community engagement, etc.); partner with P&C team to support Diversity and inclusion initiatives
• Tackle complex business problems with limited definition and uncover root causes, develop solutions, and translate into specific recommendations for action
• Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely execution of key objectives

About You:
• Proven experience in executive/leadership communications and business reporting, translating strategies to execution plans
• Excellent writing skills, ability to "storyboard" and develop visually compelling presentations with clear logic and structure
• Highly organized and detailed oriented; proficient in managing competing priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Intellectually curious with entrepreneurial attitude and a results-driven mindset
• Ability to influence with authority - anticipate and proactively address issues that may arise
• Trusted partner who can manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality; ability to understand unspoken sensitivities and exercise absolute discretion is a must
• Flexible and creative, able to not only adapt but also thrive in a constantly changing environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to build relationships and interact effectively with individuals at all levels
• Experience in financial services and digital payments with an understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends is a plus
• A passion to achieve and excel, fluent in English and a good sense of humor
