Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Faculty Group Practice Ultrasound Technician-Specialty Area (37.5).

In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for performing all diagnostic ultrasound procedures for GYN practice.

Job Responsibilities:
    • Interact with patients by identifying self to patient and verifies the identity of the patient by checking the patients ID bracelet or verbal acknowledgment by patient technician explains the procedure and equipment to the patient clearly and provides patient privacy at all times
    • Navigate and perform advanced scans using appropriate equipment
    • usage of highly technical equipment to produce scans and condut procedures
    • write reports based on completion of the scan, document the scan according to the departmental procedures, enter, maintain, and record all pertinent data. Must use good judgment hen determining if the procedure was sufficient for proper diagnosis.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Registered as an American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Experience in specialty capacity required. Completion of an approved ultrasound technology educational program..

Required Licenses: Am Rgtry Diagn Med Sonographer

Preferred Qualifications:
RDMS (OBGYN) and Nuchal Translucency certification highly preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. College graduate preferred.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $103,625.08 - $114,225.07 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
