Job Overview

The Senior Technical Project Manager is a skilled, Agile-savvy professional with deep technical expertise. This role involves leading complex, cross-functional projects focused on Data Availability, Data as Code, Service Virtualization, and Environment Monitoring. The candidate will also be well-versed in SRE principles and have experience managing DevOps pipelines. With hands-on knowledge of APM tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Stack Driver, and enterprise data management strategies, you will ensure successful execution and delivery of key initiatives.

What You Will Do
  • Own and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact technical projects focused on Data Availability and Environment Monitoring.
  • Create, maintain, and adjust detailed roadmaps and project plans, communicating status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, the PMO, and leadership.
  • Drive SRE principles and practices throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of systems.
  • Lead initiatives around Data as Code and Golden Data Baselines, ensuring data integrity and availability across the enterprise.
  • Utilize Service Virtualization to simulate services and APIs, enabling faster and more efficient development cycles.
  • Oversee environment stability initiatives, driving proactive monitoring and alerting strategies using APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk, Stack Driver).
  • Facilitate Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement, ensuring alignment across development, QA, operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Manage the integration of DevOps pipelines for continuous integration, deployment, and testing across project teams.
  • Remove blockers efficiently and escalate risks with urgency while driving resolution and ensuring team alignment.
  • Mentor and onboard junior project managers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned, continuously improving Agile and DevOps practices.
Skills You Will Need
  • Agile Expertise: Strong proficiency in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and the ability to drive Agile principles within teams.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex technical projects, overseeing all related activities from initiation to final delivery.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of Data Availability, Data as Code, Service Virtualization, and Environment Monitoring, with experience in SRE principles.
  • APM Tools: Experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Stack Driver, ensuring proactive monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning.
  • DevOps Pipelines: Extensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration into development cycles to improve efficiency and automation.
  • SRE Principles: In-depth understanding and application of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices, ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Facilitation & Leadership: Strong facilitation and leadership skills, capable of aligning cross-functional teams toward a common goal.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present technical and project status updates clearly and concisely.
  • Creative & Strategic Thinking: Ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome challenges and drive innovation in technical processes.
Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 6+ years of experience managing technical software development projects, with at least 4 years of Agile project management experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Previous experience in e-commerce, retail, or a similar fast-paced industry is preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a flexible, dynamic environment that may require adapting to varying schedules and needs.
