As a Machinist Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining our machining equipment to produce high-quality parts. You will work with a team of skilled technicians and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements. Your expertise in machining processes and equipment will be instrumental in ensuring efficient and safe operations while maintaining quality standards. You will report directly to the area Supervisor and Work Flow Specialist. You'll work out of our Tempe, AZ location training on the day shift and eventually moving to the second shift. In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by: - Operating and maintaining machining equipment to produce parts according to specifications - Performing quality checks to ensure parts meet or exceed quality standards - Troubleshooting and resolving machining issues to minimize downtime - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production schedules and meet customer demands. U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. YOU MUST HAVE • 5+ years of experience as a machinist or similar role • Significant experience running CNC lathes • Excellent knowledge of machining processes and equipment • Strong problem-solving skills • Effective communication and interpersonal skills WE VALUE • Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field • Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices • Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adapt to new technologies Additional Information
