Position Overview:
The Director of Account Strategy will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth, profitability, and long-term relationships across our key accounts. This role is pivotal in aligning client needs with our service offerings, ensuring client satisfaction, and maximizing revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the BPO industry, exceptional strategic thinking, and a proven track record of managing and expanding large accounts.

This position plays a crucial role in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for our key strategic accounts. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and the ability to execute strategic plans that align with our growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, business development, and GTM strategy, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Planning Collaboration: Assist in account plan reviews and strategy definitions, ensure strategy is shared and agreed upon with senior stakeholders. Assist in creation of action log execution to increase wallet share and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with account executives, customer success, market strategy, and operations teams to align on GTM account strategies and ensure to help remove obstacles and reduce sales cycle friction.
  • Account Strategy: Create cross pollination of strategies based on insights across accounts.
  • Revenue Growth: Help execute account strategies identifying and capitalizing on upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities within strategic accounts. Facilitate acceleration of digital CX strategy in accounts.
  • Client Engagement: Ensuring ensure about maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations, understanding their needs and helping to align our solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Account Analysis: Identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics that inform GTM strategies for specific customers and segments.
  • GTM Strategy Development: Assist in the creation and execution of comprehensive go-to-market strategies for key accounts, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set KPIs and track the performance of GTM initiatives, providing regular updates to senior leadership and making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Quarterly Business Reviews: Own and execute cross functional QBRs, utilizing account plans and customer scorecard methodologies to drive understanding of performance against objectives, strategic planning and alignment, and the tracking of actions and expected timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and revenue operations strategies that align with TELUS Digital's goals and objectives.
  • Manage sales administration, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, advising senior management on commercial performance and forecasts.
  • Manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes, ensuring sales data and metrics are reported accurately and consistently.
  • Design, implement, and manage revenue operations and sales reporting improvements to support the decision-making process for the sales and executive teams.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales force productivity and ensure the sales organization's efficient operation and success.
  • Interlock with finance and regional finance teams to execute GTM strategies and activities
  • Integrate and collaborate with IT and Finance to implement best practice data strategies and align with overall corporate objectives.
  • Analyze trends in customer and market behavior to support strategic GTM and decisions.
  • Develop lead and funnel conversion reporting mechanisms and drive interlocks with Marketing and Sales.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience and proven experience in sales or a similar role
  • Proficient in SFDC and other CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record of implementing successful sales account strategies.

Location:

Remote position located in the US

Pay:

The base compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 USD commensurate with experience. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
