Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Comfort Menu Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: The Comfort Menu Program Coordinator is responsible for implementation of the Safe and Sound Pain Management Comfort Menu Initiative within identified clinical areas of Cook Childrens Health Care System. This position will provide education/training, ongoing support and resources, as well as identify marketing and research opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelors required in Child Life, Child Development, or a closely related field Certified Child Life Specialist with 5 years' experience working in healthcare Demonstrated expertise in non-pharmacological pain management Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams Certified Child Life Specialist CPR - BLS is required within 60 days of hire About Us: Cook Children's Medical Center is the cornerstone of Cook Children's, and offers advanced technologies, research and treatments, surgery, rehabilitation and ancillary services all designed to meet children's needs.
