Description

We are seeking undergraduate sophomore and junior students majoring in Public Policy, Government, History, Public Health, Political Science, or a related field for a 12-Week Student Intern role to be working on a nationwide team with 2 openings in Washington, DC for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:
  • Analyze pending federal legislation and regulation and its impacts on the pharmaceutical industry and AZ.
  • Attend congressional hearings and summarize policy reports.
  • Assists with communications and marketing for employee engagements related to government affairs, such as engaging in recruitment for the AZ Political Action Committee.
  • Complete and present research project related to pharmaceutical public policy.

Position Requirements:
  • Undergraduate students working towards a degree in Public Policy, Government, History, Public Health, Political Science, or a related field. This role is for current students, and candidates must have an expected graduation date set after August 2025.
  • MS Office Suite experience with Excel and PowerPoint skills is required.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
  • US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
  • This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.
  • Ability to report onsite to Washington, DC and the surrounding area 3-5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
  • This role may have occasional offsite days to AZ's Wilmington, DE and/or Gaithersburg, MD; travel will be reimbursed in this case.
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0.
