Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Restaurant Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: The Materials Handler I receives, inspects, stores and maintains inventories of all food and supply items for Dietary Services. Checks in orders for food and supply items against invoices and order requirements. The Materials Handler I completes and delivers requested food and supply to patient care units and departments per requisition by pulling stock orders and indicating amounts for charging to patient care units. The Materials Handler I is responsible for cleaning, rotating stock, inspecting for quality and damage and maintaining all storage areas. Education & Experience: High school graduate or equivalent with demonstrated ability to read and write is required. 2-3 years' experience in storeroom/inventory operations. Certification/Licensure: City of Ft. Worth Food Handlers Certificate.
