Are you passionate about belly dance and excited to share your expertise with aspiring dancers? We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Belly Dance Instructor to join our creative team. If you have a strong background in belly dance, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students, this is an exciting opportunity for you to inspire and guide classes for various skill levels, from beginner to advance students.

Examples of Important Duties

  • Plan and teach belly dance for classes for different skill levels.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their skills.
  • Choreograph routines for performances and events.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in belly dance.
  • Participate in studio events, workshops, and performances.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Belly Dance Instructor
  • Strong knowledge of belly dance techniques and styles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Professional and punctual with a strong work ethic.

The following information is a summary of benefits extended to all Seasonal employees of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC). This is for informational purposes only and is subject to change.

Limited Benefits for Seasonal Employees

Health Insurance Plans
You are eligible for specific health insurance benefits if you worked, on average, 30 hours per week during your first 12 months of employment or from October 3rd to October 2nd each subsequent period following your first 12 months of employment. This equates to 1,560 hours over a 12-month period.

If and when you are eligible for benefits, you will receive notification directly from the Health & Benefits Office.

Eligible Employees Pay 35% of the health insurance plan premium and The Commission Pays 65%.

    • UnitedHealthcare Select Plan (EPO)
  • Prescription: CVS Caremark Prescription Plan
