Analyst, Corporate Treasury

Job Summary

The Corporate Treasury Analyst will provide support to the Corporate Finance team's treasury function. This support includes daily cash reporting and forecasting, payment transfer initiation and processing, treasury and internal controls compliance, routine monthly and quarterly treasury reporting, and bank account/ signature card management. Additionally, the Corporate Treasury Analyst will provide general support to the financial planning & analysis function within the Corporate Finance team.

Your Key Job Functions
  • Monitor daily cash balances and cash forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  • Monitor bank account activity daily for unauthorized transactions and positive pay exceptions.
  • Initiate wires, ACHs, and cashier's check requests.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with the Company's treasury policies and internal controls.
  • Support the improvement and testing of internal control environments and corporate treasury related processes.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reporting, including fulfilling internal and external audit requirements
  • Process other recurring treasury transactions, help with reconciling bank activity.
  • Maintain bank account information, signature card updates, opening and closing of bank accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of Brinker financial forecasts
  • Review P&L results and perform relevant variance analysis
  • Support quarterly earnings call process and audit requests

What You Bring to the Team
  • Bachelor's Degree (Finance, Accounting, or Economics)
  • CPA, MBA or other certifications a plus, but not required
  • 2-3 years of related work experience
  • Understanding of financial statements and accounting
  • Advanced excel, working knowledge of other MS office applications required
  • Experience with Oracle SmartView or similar tool is a plus
  • Ability to create and maintain advanced financial models
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively interface with all levels within the organization
  • Experience in retail/hospitality industry and/or a public company environment preferred
  • Attention to detail and data quality control
  • Possess proficient analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Work independently and effectively manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently; able to multi-task and adapt quickly to a dynamic work
