Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Psychiatry Shift: Weekend Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 12 Summary: The Family/ Intake Therapist provides intake assessments in the Emergency Department and over the phone to determine appropriate level of care and treatment. This role also provides family assessments, family therapy, crisis intervention, and telephone triage for psychiatric inpatients, PHP, ER, and discharged patients. The Family/ Intake Therapist will participate in group therapy, multi-disciplinary treatment, diagnostic conferences, and diagnostic interviews. This person will also provide case management services for all patients, manages patients' mental health benefits, and keeps informed of all information regarding the patients' treatment and their payor. The Family/ Intake Therapist will need to be available for Intake on-call as needed. The Family / Intake Therapist will support our inpatient psych unit. This person will also provide case management services for all patients and help with discharge planning and providing appropriate resources and referrals. This is a PRN position and will work weekends and cover planned PTO, staff call-ins and help at times of high census. 8:45am - 4pm *** M ay have to stay later than 4pm, can leave as soon as the unit needs and documentation are complete Qualifications:
