Description Job Summary This position is an entry-level position that assists the operators engaged in processing materials. Duties and Responsibilities: Assists operators at the coil loading and packaging ends of the line and as needed. Builds pallets and shipping containers using hand and power tools. Band and palletize metal coils and/or metal sheets, placing tags/labels on finished products. Perform quality check to verify proper lengths, widths, and weights are adhered to using the proper tools. Detects and reports faulty operations or defective materials. Moves or carries parts, equipment, or materials. Read and understand production orders. Wraps and unwraps materials. Housekeeping of work areas. Operates a sit-down forklift. Achieves production goals while complying to all safety requirements. Other duties as assigned.
