Position Overview: The Quality Control Technician is the person responsible for organizations to enforce all quality system procedures and ensure that their products and services meet quality standards. Plan and implement quality control mechanisms in an organization. This position exists to perform checks and physical testing; if apply; for the different process/products at the plant. This testing includes routine in house process tests as well as customer specific testing. The incumbent will assist with the verification of outgoing quality of products shipped and for maintaining accurate records of the findings and is a vital person in the plant overall quality program. Extremely close attention to detail and accuracy are requirements of this position. Any mistakes made could lead to severe process problems and financial loss. Once trained the technician works with minimal supervision. The annual pay for this role is $48,200 - $60,300. *Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
