Job Description Summary

OVERVIEW

Responsible for providing the business analysis required to support the definition and implementation of "Token Mapping Service (TMS)", used during Authorization to retrieve PAN numbers from Token numbers.

In this role, you will become a subject matter expert in MDES Token Mapping services that is used during transaction processing, working collaboratively with agile software development teams to analyze business requirements and deliver high quality features that meet customer expectations. You will apply your analysis skills to understand business needs, identify what needs to be done, and establish a common understanding of requirements with key stakeholders.

Your analysis skills may be applied to a range of challenges including complex new roadmap features, system integrations, software maintenance items, and specific product team requests.

ROLE

• Analyze business, data, and system interface requirements for roadmap features, system integrations, software maintenance items, or specific business requests.
• Identifies gaps and charters new platform capabilities as required
• Work with development teams, software architects, product team, and external groups to ensure a clear understanding of business needs which will drive software development activities.
• Communicate clearly and concisely (both verbally and written) so that problems are effectively analyzed and outcomes agreed.
• Exhibits expertise within platform feature area and coordinates with interdependent teams
• Continuously monitors feature development at the feature level
• Reviews product demo with the development team against acceptance criteria for the feature set
• Prepares launches and monitors platform performances, adoption, and operational health for feature sets
• Identifies issues that will keep the platform features from delivering on time and/or with the desired requirements and communicates to leadership
• Supports and participates in post-launch reviews and ensures feedback is reincorporated into the feature
• Works with internal teams and customer service to identify, classify, and prioritize feature-level customer issues
• Is able to read Java code if/when needed to help troubleshoot possible issues and/or confirm business logic implemented
• Support development of user and release documentation

ALL ABOUT YOU

• Successful candidate should have a strong technical background to enable them to work closely across multiple technical teams driving solutions which match the platforms architecture
• Proven ability to analyze software requirements, model business processes/workflows, and align software requirements to business strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to understand complex systems and communicate effectively with the technical teams.
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills (English language)
• Able to negotiate requirements and build effective relationships with key stakeholders
• Finance or Payment Industry experience (desirable)
• Ability to balance work across multiple projects/work streams while still meeting deadlines.
• Familiar with ISO 8583
