Role: As a Director on the Faster Payments Strategy team, this individual will join the Americas U.S. team to uncover payments innovation opportunities, enable collaboration across stakeholders, and advance the adoption of Mastercard's faster payments capabilities and revenue. The ideal candidate has prior payments experience and is passionate about customer experience, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and a strong communicator. The position will be based in Purchase, New York and requires some travel. Specific responsibilities include: •Managing and developing the relationship with Early Warning Services which includes: - Owning the overall account strategy development and execution, - Developing and owning direct relationships with day-to-day and senior level contacts to understand needs and priorities, - Managing monthly account performance tracking and reporting to communicate status and address short and long-term risks and opportunities, - Maintaining and growing services revenue, - Monitoring A2A and digital payments market trends to assess account performance and development opportunities or challenges, and - Developing and executing tactical plans with cross functional teams actively manage client success and generate incremental value. • Serving as the account's owner and proactively advocating for the client across the organization to ensure implementation and service support. • Collaborating with subject matter experts to generate new faster payment opportunities. - Supporting or conducting various market research projects - Efficiently managing discovery and concept definition processes to develop relevant and impactful concepts, - Conducting deep quantitative analytics to build financial models and business cases as well as demonstrating the value of solutions and show their effectiveness - Developing and implementing go-to-market plans • Developing advanced customized presentations for use with clients • Coordinating the internal Mastercard's engagement in industry groups by enabling collaboration of MasterCard representatives and share Senior Management updates to protect or enhance Mastercard's position. • Monitoring the North America competitive landscape to identify potential threats and opportunities and syndicate across teams. • Being an ambassador for Mastercard Faster Payments within the company and payments marketplace. All About You: • Passion for innovation and strong understanding of the payments landscape to help drive the Faster Payments Strategy forward. • Comfortable to manage through ambiguity and adaptable to change. • Sound business judgment with established strategic/conceptual thinking and strategic planning skills to ideate, design and deliver on vertical segment and channel solutions. • Self-starter who operates with a sense of urgency. • A strong team player with excellent project management and execution skills, with strong problem solving, highly analytical, quantitative communication and organizational skills. • Understands organizational structures, and relationships to drive impact at all levels. • Strong communication and influencing skills to work with internal and external stakeholders, with ability to clearly articulate problem statements. • Proven experience defining and managing go-to-market plans and leveraging market insights to differentiate Mastercard solutions from the competition. • Understanding of the Mastercard products and services and key revenue drivers helpful. • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a plus. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
