Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nuclear Med Technologist - NYU Langone Huntington Medical Group - Per Diem. In this role, the successful candidate Position Summary: Responsible for performing medically prescribed nuclear medicine procedures; maintaining departmental standards in accordance with Policies and Procedures and up to date knowledge on new techniques and procedures This position works under limited supervision independently performing Nuclear Medicine testing Work situations require a service oriented individual Procedures performed require independent judgement initiative ingenuity and strict adherence to radiation safety management guidelines Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications:Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board NMTCB recognized nuclear medicine technology program Certification/registration in Nuclear Medicine or eligibility by either the: Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board NMTCB ; The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in nuclear medicine technology Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $46.91 - $52.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
