The Thought Leader Liaison, US Metabolic (TLL) role is a senior field based position within the US commercial organization that will focus on commercial KOL relationship engagement, promotional speaker development, attendance to key conferences, support the execution of promotional HCP programs, partner with the diagnostics team, and aid in the execution of non personal promotion initiatives. Time in this role will be dedicated to Hypophosphatasia. The position will report to the Director of TLLs and be part of the US Metabolic Marketing team.
The geography is down to Baltimore over to Philly and Northeast area.
You will be responsible for:
- Partner with marketing and medical to identify physician speakers to deliver approved MLR promotional slide decks
- Develop physician speakers to provide high quality promotional education
- Monitor speaker performance at programs
- Provide field-based training on speaker programs for when needed
- Supports on-label conversations when needed
- Executes physician engagement activities in the field and key congresses
- Execute non personal promotion initiatives leveraging data
- Compliant Collaboration with Regional Field Team
Marketing Strategy:
- Works with cross-functional teams and marketing team to provide key customer insights and input on strategy, tactics, and messaging, and program execution
Diagnostic Strategy:
- Works with cross-functional teams and diagnostic team to provide key customer insights and input on strategy, tactics, and messaging, and program execution
Compliance & Integrity:
- Works with the highest degree of professionalism and in accordance with the company's code of Ethics and Business Conduct
You will need to have:
- 7 years' work experience in academia, medical or bio/pharma
- Experience in a combination of one or more of the following areas: product marketing, field sales, clinical, nurse practitioner or thought leader engagement
- Solid understanding of Thought Leader engagement practices.
- Clinical, technical and scientific knowledge and proficiency in complex disease states
- Demonstrated ability to execute against strategic and tactical plans under short timelines
- Proven ability to lead large geographical territory
- Valid driver's license and clean driving
- Travel requirements: Willing to travel >50% of the time including considerable overnight and weekend travel

We would prefer for you to have:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Graduate degree (MSc, MSN, MBA)
- Prior experience and/or relationships within the Metabolics area
- Prior experience in Marketing or thought leader engagement preferred
- Self-driven with strong organizing and planning skills
- Highly collaborative with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to execute against strategic and tactical plans under short timelines
