Key Responsibilities:
The Key Responsibilities of the AI Transformation Leader include: - Provide strategic leadership and direction in the development, articulation and implementation, of a comprehensive AI/ML/ Data Transformation Roadmap for HTS aligned with the overall business objectives
- Provide technical oversight all HTS AI projects to drive performance output to meet KPI metrics in VE/CE, Product Development Say/Do, Productivity, Quality and speed of Commercialization
- Review, select, prioritize, and hone Honeywell projects in AI and in collaboration with the SBG HTS teams to drive development forward, demonstrating ROI for the businesses/ customers.
- Serve as HTS Key contact and interface with external partners and industry leaders for collaborations in AI/LLM/ Generative AI
- Stay abreast with the latest advancements in AI/ML; bring the external best practices for adoption in HTS/ Honeywell
- Enable productivity gains for HTS across functions with the usage of AI technology tools
- Work with the engineering teams across HTS for key programs for cost optimization and cycle time reduction using AI tools and technology, provide a plan and execute for scale up across the broader HTS organization
- Work with other AI champions in engineering and SBG on evaluating AI tools/ technologies/ frameworks, champion adoption in different projects and demonstrate value for business and customers
- Drive cross-SBG and virtual community on AI adoption, AI capability building for HTS
YOU MUST HAVE - Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Engineering - Electrical, Computer Science, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering
- 10 years of experience in innovation and leadership of technology development, ideally in advanced technology with a combined PhD in engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Proven experience and technology leadership in implementing AI/ML technologies in implementing successful product and project execution
WE VALUE - Experience developing technology or products utilizing machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI)
- Ability to establish a strategy and execution plan within an ambiguous environment and quickly pivot when necessary
- Hands-on technical experience in AI/ML/Complex Problem Solving
- Engineering organization management experience with a global footprint
- Strong Technology Development Practices, Processes and Tools Experience leading technology strategy transformation
- Proven experience and success in pivoting the organization - Innovation, Agility, and Speed
