Summary:

The Food Services department is seeking a Nutrition Technician with a focus in CBORD Menu Informatics to join our dynamic team to contribute to the individualization of the various functions of the medical center's computer system in order create a system wide approach which supports and contributes to the requirements of the food service department. We are seeking a positive and energetic individual that is willing to work with management and act as the liaison for both nutrition and food service. Provides basic nutrition education and formula instructions to parents or other family members based on goals, preferences, learning barriers, and readiness while maintaining patient confidentiality and honoring patient rights. This role assists with general operations that contribute to the achievement of the department's goals, customer service, and quality improvement activities.

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma and 2 years Food Service, Dietetic Tech, or similar experience required.
  • In addition to years of experience, Associates Degree or 2 years of college course work preferred.
  • Nutrition diets training experience preferred.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification
  • Registration with American Dietetic Association for Dietetic Technician Preferred
