Description
The Director, Enterprise Business Solutions will oversee and coordinate all SAP and business application support, projects, and contracts. Experience with business transformation projects and SAP implementations is critical for this role. Additional responsibilities include coordinating time, resources, and budgets for internal employees and consultants and planning, implementing, and prioritizing ERP and business applications projects. Teams of business analysts with SAP, business process, programming, and manufacturing skills will report to this position. The incumbent should have strong SAP skills with a focus on order to cash, supply chain, and manufacturing. Key success criteria also include the ability to create a good working relationship with outside resources that will provide a source of SAP knowledge and assistance to staff that interface directly with business stakeholders. Travel to remote manufacturing facilities and various SAP/manufacturing seminars is also required. This position will report to the Senior Vice President, Information Technology.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive SAP strategy aligned with the company's business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging SAP solutions to drive business efficiency and growth.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage a team of SAP professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure successful delivery of SAP projects.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- SAP Project Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP projects, from requirements gathering to solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Business Process Analysis and Improvement:
- Work closely with business units to understand their needs and challenges and identify areas where SAP solutions can enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead the analysis and re-engineering of business processes to optimize them in line with SAP capabilities.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with SAP vendors and external partners to evaluate new solutions, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships.
- Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders, such as IT, finance, operations, and HR, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SAP solutions.
- Change Management and Training:
- Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of SAP solutions by end-users.
- Provide training and support to users to enhance their proficiency in utilizing SAP applications effectively.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Prepare and manage the departmental budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for SAP projects and initiatives.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure that all SAP solutions and processes comply with relevant industry regulations and data security standards.
- Implement robust data governance practices to safeguard sensitive information.
