Description The Associate Scientist will conduct research and development efforts for CCM products. The role will focus on leading qualifications and changes in rubber formulations at plant to achieve cost savings, improved manufacturability, improved quality assurance, and supply chain continuity. It may also include leading rubber formulation changes for line extensions, sustainability and new product development. This position will conduct research using the latest technologies across the full lifecycle of product development from laboratory-, pilot-, and plant-scale processing equipment to create new products and building assemblies, test methods, formulations, and processing techniques. Effective communication of this knowledge will be demonstrated by routinely guiding, coaching, and mentoring technical staff, sharing knowledge, and collaborating with stakeholders within and outside the organization. This position will operate under the general guidance of R&I EPDM Manager. Primary Responsibilities:
