As a Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving procurement of materials and services in alignment with business guidelines. You will be accountable for establishing and executing procurement strategies to achieve the lowest total cost, reduced working capital, and ensure supply continuity. This role requires strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic global environment. In this role, you will impact the company by driving performance-driven commodity and category supply strategies, managing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will also contribute to the growth and success of the business by identifying cost-saving opportunities, implementing value engineering initiatives, and eliminating sole/single sources. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Plan with assisting strategies Right and fast execution of strategies to align with business growth and new product introductions Manage Category and Commodity Strategies including spend thoughtfulness, benchmarking, cost, market thoughtfulness, and global technology/economic trends Build new relationships with key supplier guide Work with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Business, Operations, Finance, and Quality and other Honeywell Businesses Guide supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance processes Apply effective sourcing supplier risk assessment methodologies to ensure supplier continuity Improve working capital through payment terms extensions, payment cycle optimization, vendor-managed inventories Inventory and lead time reductions Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international) BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL Benefits - Medical, Vision, Dental, Mental Health Paid Vacation 401k Plan/Retirement Benefits (as per regional policy) Career Growth Professional Development YOU MUST HAVE 5+ years in contract management and negotiations Proficient in data analytics tools such as Excel Valid passport, or ability to obtain a valid passport WE VALUE Bachelor's degree in supply chain or business administration Extensive experience in sourcing and procurement Project Management and/or contract management Experience Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management Additional Information JOB ID: req469764 Category: Procurement Relocation Tier: Not Applicable Security Clearance: Aviation Authority (FAA for US): Band: 03 Referral Bonus: 1500 Requisition Type: Standard Requisition US Citizenship: FLSA Statement: FLSA CODE: Exempt Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
