Manager, Cyber Fraud and Payment Threat Intelligence

Overview:

Mastercard's Services team is responsible for safeguarding trust in payments, both now and in the future. We ensure that transactions and interactions are safe, simple and smart. The Card & Payment Ecosystem Security organization within Services is responsible for developing and managing cybersecurity solutions that help build trust in the Mastercard ecosystem while increasing Mastercard's posture as a leader in the cybersecurity industry.

About the Role:

Mastercard is using global threat intelligence to secure today's digital economy - in the payments ecosystem and beyond. The Product Manager will manage the threat intelligence process that supports the Card & Payment Ecosystem Security product function. The role is responsible for developing threat intelligence deliverables derived from business needs, market opportunities, and cyber-enabled fraud trends. This role will manage a team of intelligence analysts who research and understand the cyber threats impacting merchants and financial services.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts responsible for researching, analyzing, and writing finished intelligence reports on cyber threats impacting the payment ecosystem.
• Conduct in-depth research on cyber threat actors, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and develop actionable intelligence for non-technical audiences.
• Author and oversee the production of high-quality white papers and intelligence reports that distill complex cyber threat information into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
• Focus on the big-picture threats and emerging trends while identifying and prioritizing what is most important to the organization and its clients.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and global threat landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, incorporating feedback to improve intelligence products and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure intelligence reports align with business needs.
• Manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously, ensuring timely completion while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.

All About You

• Extensive background in Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), with a deep understanding of the cyber threat landscape, IOCs, and TTPs relevant to the payment ecosystem.
• Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and actionable intelligence reports and white papers for a range of audiences, from technical experts to business leaders.
• Proven experience in managing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving performance to meet deadlines.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a high level of output quality.

Cyber Threat Intelligence certifications preferred. This role may require a CTI-related writing sample.
