Overview The Dispute team is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to enhance our customer experience strategy through innovation and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. This role focuses on our customer-facing Mastercom API. Role • Assist in all aspects of the software development life cycle. • Develop and deliver scalable software solutions for Mastercard's Dispute applications, from inception to production. • Collaborate with DevOps, TechOps, and BizOps teams to build and maintain capabilities that support Mastercard's customers effectively. • Implement best engineering practices in development and test automation. • Develop Java Spring-based cloud applications to create APIs for Mastercard's Dispute Resolution. All About You • Experience in developing microservices using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and SQL. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to demo features to product owners. • A proactive team player who supports colleagues and takes development work from inception to implementation. Desirable Skills Familiarity with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Redis, Kafka, Splunk, and IBM Operational Decision Manager.
