Description
Resp & Qualifications PURPOSE: Develops and implements security solutions. Administers security technology systems by architecting and engineering/developing trusted systems into secure systems. Assists in the development of implementation and deployment plans that are aligned to the organizational strategic plan objectives and security requirements. Advises management in developing cybersecurity policies, processes, and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assists with day-to-day support of security solutions. Assists with engineering support and system administration of specialized cybersecurity solutions. Solves complex problems and answers routine questions about the installation, operation, configuration, and customization of cybersecurity software. Identifies potential conflicts with the implementation of any cybersecurity solutions. Answers routine questions about the installation, operation, configuration, and customization of cybersecurity solutions. Reviews and analyzes appropriate cybersecurity solution system logs for performance and functional anomalies. Works with system design architects and project managers to provide security requirements. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Position does not have direct reports but is expected to assist in guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. May lead a team of matrixed resources. QUALIFICATIONS: Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience. Licenses/Certifications: CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional Upon Hire Required or CISM - Certified Information Security Manager Upon Hire Required or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Upon Hire Required or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Upon Hire Required Experience: 5 years related experience or cybersecurity certification, and 3 years related experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Web Application Firewalls Possess strong knowledge of Network Firewalls Experience with NIDS/NIPS Experience with Email Security Advanced understanding of network technologies including packet brokers and packet storage Advanced understanding of segmentation of private and public clouds Understanding of micro segmentation A plus to have knowledge of NAC and Endpoint Security tools Have 5 to 10 years of IT security experiences with multiple tools that secure networks, data, and endpoints. Be able to learn new security tools quickly. Should have at least one certification in one of the following: CISSP, Security+, Network+, CCNA Security, CCNA routing and switching, AWS, Azure, or other security product certifications Leadership: Set and execute upon a clear vision, strategy, and/or goals Partnership: Build trust and strong partnerships through my own and my team's actions Drive for Execution: Focus on real results rather than the appearance of results. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Ability to perform risk assessments and investigate cyber security incidents. Ability to understand vulnerabilities at a technical level. Knowledge of hardware and software, networks, data centers, systems, and cyber security related issues. Proficient in ethical hacking techniques. Strong critical thinking ability and investigative/problem solving skills. Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging. Salary Range: $98,208 - $195,052 Salary Range Disclaimer The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the work is being performed.
