Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sourcing Leader Financial Services. In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for providing strategic sourcing services for Finance/Corporate Services spend to NYU Langone Health. Commodities overseen include but are not limited to: Consulting Services Financial Services, Revenue Cycle, Library Subscriptions Services, Collections, General Indirect system wide spend. The Leader will execute sourcing projects from start to finish that include financial analysis for RFX packages vendor negotiations coordinating with the requesters/end users publishing the package to the identified suppliers for bidding purposes following up with the suppliers to ensure adequate participation and summarizing proposals back to the requestor/end user. Leader will work to execute these projects by collaborating with internal teams including but not limited to: Data Management Procurement Project Management Office of General Council Insurance Audit. The Leader works under general direction from the Sourcing Manager. The Leader will be responsible for collaborating with and providing direction to Sourcing Specialists and Contract Admins. Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelor s Degree in a related field. Minimum of three years strategic sourcing responsibilities for various commodities both products and services within and outside healthcare organizations of work experience in operational procurement sourcing. High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of procurement/sourcing process. Desired Skills Sets: Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data in excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Excellent customer service skills; Knowledge and understanding of sourcing/procurement Ability to follow a process based on documented guidelines. The candidate has the ability to take direction from senior leaders in department Preferred Qualifications: Certified Purchasing Manager C P M or other recognized certification Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $97,589.95 - $110,000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
