As Senior Administrative Coordinator, you will report directly to the Vice President, Head of Cell Therapy Development and Operations (CTDO), who reports directly to Pam Cheng within SET (Senior Executive Team). You will provide comprehensive, high-quality support while planning time and prioritizing workloads to ensure that the VP carries out their role efficiently and effectively, making the best use of their time. You will develop your understanding of the CTDO VP's contribution to the delivery of business objectives, as well as those of each business group within AstraZeneca's global operations. Accountabilities: The Senior Admin Coordinator will screen and respond with discretion to often highly confidential and sensitive requests and inquiries, and answer or redirect routine internal and external communications. You will also be responsible for maintaining accuracy of a complex calendar, managing appointments and schedules, and making intricate and frequently changing global travel arrangements. Additionally, you will coordinate internal and external meetings/conferences to ensure they run smoothly, including scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for attendees, and attending those meetings as required. In this role, you will draw on your experience, insight, and judgment to assess complex, ambiguous, and often high-impact challenges, and recommend solutions that support decision-making within operational guidelines. Acting proactively and reactively, you will ensure the VP is updated and briefed on emerging issues. Combining flexibility with on-time delivery in a dynamic working environment, you will ensure the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency, and presentation are achieved. Often, you will be expected to organize and plan interactions with executive leaders, including leading up to key scientific conferences, town halls, and executive/governance meetings. You will ensure the VP has ready access to meeting agendas and relevant materials well ahead of key meetings. You will aid and assist the CTDO senior leaders with their needs as appropriate.
Essential Skills/Experience:
The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $30.38/hr to $45.58. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
