Description

This is what you will do:

The Associate Director of Revenue Management is responsible for proactively identifying and rectifying revenue leakage and reporting discrepancies, while issuing compliance notifications for any entities suspected of 340B program misreporting, and duplicative charges in efforts to protect Alexion's GTN. This role involves monitoring and evaluating strategies to mitigate revenue leakage, overseeing refunds and reconciliation, and conducting comprehensive audits to prevent fraud and duplicate discounts. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to improve reporting processes, providing training on 340B compliance, coordinating with legal teams to ensure documentation and regulatory compliance, and developing reports and presentations for senior leadership. This role is based in Alexion's Boston headquarters and reports to the Executive Director, US Contract Management & Operations.

You will be responsible for:
  • Proactively identifying areas of revenue leakage and reporting discrepancies, misreporting patterns, potential fraud and eligibility, duplicate discounts, and double-dipping for further evaluation and corrective actions
  • Exploring innovative solutions (i.e., advanced analytics, AI solutions) to detect discrepancies
  • Issuing compliance notifications for any entities suspected 340B program misreporting
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of revenue leakage mitigation strategies, and developing reports for senior leadership as needed
  • Overseeing the management of refunds and the reconciliation of corrected purchases
  • Collaborating with internal market access stakeholders as well as cross-functional partners to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of 340B reporting and compliance processes
  • Coordinating with legal and compliance teams to ensure all leakage mitigation actions are documented and comply with current regulations
You will need to have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area of study
  • 5+ years' experience in a U.S. biotech/biopharma or pharmaceutical market access analytics role
  • Ability to leverage large data sets to derive insights
  • Understanding of reimbursement methodologies utilized by commercial and government payers and providers under the medical and pharmacy benefits
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex business challenges and data-driven recommendations effectively and concisely to senior leaders.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly accountable environment, where individuals can make a clear impact
  • A strong understanding of industry regulations and standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and using excellent influencing and negotiating skills
  • Explore innovative approaches in evolving landscape
  • Up to 15% travel as required
  • The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment.   • Ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex business problems
We would prefer for you to have:
  • MBA, MPH, or other advanced degree
  • Understanding the impact and implications of the HRSA 340B drug pricing program
