Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a seasoned IT professional for the role of Director of Application Management. This critical position will be responsible for overseeing enterprise applications for HFHI's global operation that includes three offices in the United States and four global offices. This role will also scale hosted and SaaS solutions to over seventy National Offices.

The ideal candidate has experience deploying and managing global application solutions, expertise with Service Management platforms, identifying and improving business processes (for supported applications) and a very strong technical background.
In addition to managing the enterprise application environment, this role will work closely with HFHI's cyber security team for auto provisioning / deprovisioning and be responsible for maintaining secure configurations that protect the organization from attacks.

The Director of Application Management will need to work closely with other members of the IT team, business leaders, and field offices to ensure that the applications are operating to meet the needs of the organization. The candidate will need to be a strong communicator and collaborator, able to work with individuals at all levels of the organization to develop and implement technical solutions that meet their needs. Conduct performance reviews, employee oversite, as well as promoting and training of team is part of the overall responsibility of this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage enterprise applications [the backend] for the organization (50%)
• Improve and automate processes for Service Management and Digital Identity workflow (10%)
• Support the execution and operation of Global Technology Standardization: tenant and email consolidation, endpoint security (EDR/EPP), onprem migration to cloud. (15%)
• Lead the team in developing, documenting and maintaining secure configurations for enterprise applications. (5%)
• Provide appropriate metrics and important data points to evaluate performance, recommend enhancements to systems and maintain operational efficiency of Service Management platform. (5%)
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture team to ensure alignment to standards, principles, etc (5%)
• Provide Project Management for Technology Services related task/projects using Program Mgmt disciplines. (5%)
• Other related Duties as assigned by supervisor (5%)

Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5-10 Years of IT Technology Leadership/People Management Experience
• 3-5 Years deploying and managing enterprise level systems or applications
• 3+ years experience working with or in a nonprofit organization in a technology related field
• 5+ years experience remotely leading technical teams with positive results
• 3+ years of experience in a lead role supporting technical projects (demonstrated ability to support a project through all phases, requirements gathering, design, implementation, and support.)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, are required for daily interaction with both staff and team members.
• Strong technical leadership that can motivate a technical team and take ownership of complex projects through requirements gathering, implementation, and support.
• Experience deploying and managing enterprise applications or systems globally
• Vendor Management to include scope management that aligns with SOW, task management, and reporting.
o Hands on experience designing and/or managing an enterprise Service Management solution

• Microsoft 365 tenant administration / certification(s)

The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate's qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance. For work locations in the US, the hiring range for this position is $127,420 to $149,000.
