Global Sourcing and Procurement The Global Sourcing and Procurement (GSP) organization is accountable for driving and delivering Procurement value to support stakeholders' and organizational strategic objectives. The GSP function delivers value to BioMarin by leading transformation change and implementing industry leading category strategies that directly support the corporate strategy. The GSP organization leverages market intelligence, subject matter expertise and business insights in the procurement of good and services and management of BioMarin's growing third party spend of $1B+. Through collaboration with our external suppliers and internal business partners, GSP helps bring innovative new medicines to patients. The Sr Manager, Supplier Enablement and Risk Management will be part of the GSP Sourcing & Procurement Operations team. The Sr Manager, Supplier Enablement and Risk Management will lead a team of procurement professionals who are focused on all aspects of the supplier lifecycle management- including supplier onboarding, supplier master data, supplier enablement and risk management. Role Scope: This role must implement industry leading practices, develop relationships with stakeholders across the business, collaborate with global suppliers throughout the onboarding, enablement and risk processes, and drive innovation and continuous improvement in the ways of working. You will provide mentoring and management to ensure team engagement and professional development for direct reports. This role is responsible for leading a team of procurement professionals in supporting BioMarin in the following areas:
Strategy & Leadership
Minimum Level of Education Required : Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field. Area of Specialization : Sourcing & Procurement, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Supplier Risk Management. Experience in procurement and supply chain management in a global capacity, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.

In the U.S., the salary range for this position is $ 123,200 to $ 184,800 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A discretionary bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered. |
