Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Hospital Concierge-KP 12 Surgical Transplant Unit-Day Shift (35 Hours).

In this role, the successful candidate Support the patient care activities of the nursing unit through maintenance of patient records supplies and the environment; coordinates activities with unit staff and other departments; demonstrates clear concise accurate and timely communications with members of the health care team patients families and visitors; incorporates NYU Core Values in all aspects of job performance

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the patient care activities of the nursing unit through timely greeting and check in of arriving patients;
  • Coordinates activities with unit staff and other departments
  • Demonstrates clear concise accurate and timely communications with members of the health care team patients families and visitors nbsp;
  • Performs service functions including but not limited to triaging/ answering calls/
  • Assisting with concerns and use ofMyWall nbsp;
  • Works under direct supervision; incorporates NYULH Core Values in all aspects of job performance nbsp;

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High school diploma or the equivalent Competence: Computer literacy including but not limited to keyboard facility data entry knowledge of email use of hospital intranet multiple telephone line experience and etiquette Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills effective communication skills both in person and on the telephone and creative problem solving

Preferred Qualifications:
Clerical customer service communcations related experience desirable Bilingual desirable

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58,169.53 - $58,169.53 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
