Description

We are seeking a junior or masters-level students majoring in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field for a 12-Week Student Intern role in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:
  • The individual will be responsible for regularly performing experiments in the laboratory and analyzing the resulting data.
  • They will also be expected to attend regular meetings and review relevant scientific literature.
  • Summarize and present their findings from their project with both a poster and PowerPoint presentation.
Position Requirements:
  • Junior or masters-level* students majoring in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. Students with graduate-level course experience are preferred.
  • **Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
  • Competency with basic laboratory techniques such as preparing buffers, measuring Osmolality, pH, protein concentration, subvisible particles, etc. is required
  • Microsoft Office applications experience (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required
  • JMP and PowerBI experience is preferred
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
  • US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
  • This role will not be providing OPT support.
  • Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD 4-5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0
