Description

We are seeking Undergraduate Juniors majoring in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Health & Natural Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Business Administration for a 12-Week Student Intern role in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:
  • Lead and support business development and Alliance project teams
  • Support customer management team, and lead engagements with customers and partners
  • Develop and enhance implementation of digital solutions across our business processes to drive simplification of our daily work

Position Requirements:
  • Undergraduate Juniors majoring in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Health & Natural Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Business Administration.
  • Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
  • Required experience with MS Office suite of tools (primarily PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Experiences with data analytics via Smartsheet, PowerBI, and PowerApps preferred
  • Prior internship experience (in any industry) is preferred.
  • Understanding of Pharma supply chain in AstraZeneca's individual therapy areas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and interest in leveraging digital technologies for process improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
  • US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
  • Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa (e.g., CPT, H1-B, F-1 (OPT), TN, or other non-immigrant status). This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.
  • Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD 3-5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance, and local candidates will be prioritized.
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0
