Summary

Leads routine program management functions on assigned multiple projects or sub-projects of moderate complexity. Completes, with limited oversight, assignments in support of one or more weapon, product/service, or reimbursable program.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluates, determines, and drives program management activities to manage one or more moderately complex program or portfolio
  • Provides knowledgeable input to review and drive execution of innovative solutions to technical issues
  • Applies program management and financial standard to the development of cost and schedule framework for projects and program elements
  • Provides assistance in the financial planning, monitoring, scheduling, preparation, and release of technical/schedule information required for program/project planning
  • May assists in establishment and oversight of production/project definitions, maintenance of schedules, and engineering releases associated with weapon or reimbursable programs
  • Performs some technical, administrative, and logistical liaison roles with company, design agencies, laboratories, integrated contractors for a program or portfolio
  • Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with other internal business units and external customers
  • Guides and mentors lower-level Associate Program Managers

You Must Have

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in engineering, business, or program management
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
  • United States Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
