Job Description:

This internship is designed to be an 11-week full-time opportunity beginning June 2025 and concluding August 2025. The program is ideal for current a sophomore or junior undergraduates seeking experience and exposure to diverse careers in healthcare. Youll work specifically with our Government Programs Team which is accountable for our Medicare and Medicaid lines of businesses. Interns will join one of the areas of Strategy & Growth to support the team in their core mission. Sample work includes:

Individual MA
  • Business and P&L support the driving and tracking initiatives that touch all Individual Medicare lines of business and help drive specific projects to move towards operational excellence
  • Product support the product implementation activities to prepare for the Annual Election Period and Open Enrollment
  • Marketing learn and understand the operational aspects of Marketing and help support driving projects from start to completion focused on prospect, sales, provider, and member communications
GP IT Operations
  • Hoping to get someone with analytical skills to assist as a business analyst junior project manager
  • This person can assist on various IT projects and data analysis and organization.
Medicaid
  • Join us at the nexus of policy, innovation, and implementation with our Medicaid program.
  • Intern will support projects related to Medicaid growth and program expansion. To include project management, strategy, and policy analysis.
Education Level :

Undergraduate Track: Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business, Data Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, IT or other related field with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 GPA.

Required Abilities/Skills :
  • Independent thinker and self-starter who can also work as part of a team
  • Project management experience or education preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to positively interface with and establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic and creative decision maker who can motivate self without constant supervision
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including assisting with presentations and proposals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
  • Demonstrated skills with various computer applications/software, particularly those related to database management and the development of presentations.

Salary Range Disclaimer

The hire range posted is an annual rate. All intern positions will be paid hourly.
