Title: Part-Time Faculty- Business Department: Business Management Campus Location: Arnold Campus, Arundel High School, Glen Burnie Town Center, or Severna Park High School Work Mode: This position requires regular in-person presence on campus and at alternative locations, depending on class schedule and other assigned duties. Work Schedule: M/W or T/TH during the day Position Type: Part-Time Faculty, Exempt Position Summary The School of Business & Law at AACC is looking for a part-time faculty member to teach face-to-face classes this spring in Arnold, Glen Burnie, and at our high school partner locations in Severna Park and Gambrills. The courses offered are Introduction to Business, Business and Professional Ethics, or Business Communications. Courses will run for 15 weeks. Job Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities include: teaching, assessing student progress in meeting the learning objectives through formal and informal assessment, holding office hours, meeting required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information, as requested, and adhering to safety procedures and departmental standards. Required Qualifications: -Master's degree in Business related field -Minimum of three (3) years of full-time professional experience in a Business Field Preferred Qualifications: -Experience with the Canvas learning management system is a plus -Experience working with dual-enrollment (high school) students |
