Description

We are seeking freshman, sophomore, and junior students majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Scientific and Technical Writing, Training & Development, or a related field for a 12-Week Student Intern role working in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:
  • Update laboratory instrument/equipment inventory, adapt equipment user manuals to internal operating instructions, and complete compliance reports/analysis.
  • Verify application and tools used to handle or calculate data.
  • Address Learning Management System update request and build/create Learning & Development databases to departments within BPD.
  • Create comprehensive learning pathways to support new hires and building technical training videos.

Position Requirements:
  • Undergraduate freshman, sophomore, and junior students majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Scientific and Technical Writing, Training & Development, or a related field.
  • Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
  • General scientific course work in biology and chemistry are required.
  • Interest in scientific writing, laboratory compliance, learning content creation with learning and development principles is preferred.
  • Good Manufacturing Practice compliance interest and/or experienceis preferred.
  • Software exposure to Excel/Word is required.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
  • US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
  • This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.
  • Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD for 5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0
