We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Gas Portfolio Manager to lead our product portfolio strategy and drive the success of our offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy, managing the product roadmap, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of product management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation and growth.

Location: Houston, TX
Travel/Territory: 20% domestic

  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovation and growth within a product portfolio.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
  • Product Portfolio Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product portfolio strategy aligned with business objectives and market opportunities. Define the vision, goals, and priorities for the product portfolio and ensure alignment with broader company strategies.
  • Product Roadmap Management: Lead the development and management of product roadmaps for the entire portfolio, outlining key initiatives, features, and enhancements to be delivered over time. Prioritize initiatives based on market trends, customer needs, and business priorities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive portfolio initiatives forward. Facilitate communication and coordination between teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
  • Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats. Identify new opportunities for product expansion or innovation within the portfolio.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, partners, and industry influencers. Serve as the primary point of contact for portfolio-related matters and ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor key performance metrics for the product portfolio, including revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.
  • Innovation and Future Planning: Drive innovation within the product portfolio by identifying new market opportunities, emerging technologies, and customer needs. Work closely with R&D and innovation teams to develop and test new product concepts.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 6 years of expertise in managing a portfolio of products, projects, and investments.
  • Proven track record in portfolio performance management and lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of Master Data Management.
