OVERVIEW: Competitive Intelligence Team The Competitive Intelligence group is responsible for providing best-in-class competitive insights to optimize BioMarin's on-market, clinical and research programs. The group also supports Investor Relations, Business Development, Commercial, Manufacturing, and Medical Affairs' efforts. The CI team is committed to ensuring relevant, timely, and impactful insights to support the programs and achievement of corporate goals. SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Associate Director-level position (CI Lead) is a team role for insight-driven professionals who excel as masterful facilitators and organizational drivers. As an experienced and well-respected leader, this individual plays a pivotal role in setting the competitive strategy and direction of the organization. This candidate will hold accountability for sound decisions through the mastery of essential scientific, technical & business expertise around competitive research, drug modality, product development, and BioMarin's therapeutic areas. The role oversees the CI of one or more highly complex programs and disease areas, along with being a key leader in the CI function. In addition, the role is expected to:

In the U.S., the salary range for this position is $ 130,500 to $ 195,700 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A discretionary bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered. |
