THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a dynamic and capable HR Generalist to join our team. Reporting to the site HR Business partner, this position will be based at our Loudon, TN site, supporting two manufacturing plants co-located. This exciting and challenging role will require you to use your HR knowledge and experience to shape our people strategy, implement HR processes and initiatives, manage employee relations, and provide support to managers on all HR matters, including employee relations, employee engagement, performance management, recruitment and selection, on- boarding, and facilitating learning and development.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hands on on-site HR support to managers on HR issues.
  • Provide guidance to management and front-line supervisors on employee relations matters and performance management issues.
  • Conduct training for managers and employees on HR and company policies.
  • Participate in HR projects such as talent acquisition and retention, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Work proactively with plant leadership teams to assist in identifying and developing processes to strengthen employee engagement.
  • Conduct effective and objective investigations regarding disciplinary issues.
  • Manage employee performance and support disciplinary process where necessary.
  • Co-lead our local recruitment efforts with support from our Global Talent Acquisition team.

ABOUT YOU
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 4+ years of professional experience in HR
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations in [region]
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Presentation Skills
